NOTE: If you have purchased one of our web design packages all the items in step 1 are included in your web design.
What do I need to start my online business?
First: You will need to purchase your domain name and sign up for hosting. You can purchase an affordable domain name through Godaddy.com which will cost you about $12.00.
Second: You will need to purchase your hosting plan, which you can either purchase through Studio 11 Web Design or another hosting company. We suggest you do your homework if purchasing through another hosting company.
NOTE: If you purchase a full website design through Studio 11 Web Design you first year of hosting is FREE with the design package.
Third: We will customize and install your design for you. This includes changing the font, changing color and incorporating your own logo that is already designed.
NOTE: Studio 11 Web Design Does not supply your logo and any type of graphics so you will either have to have them made, or Studio 11 Web Design can design a logo or specific graphics, prints ect.. for a cost.
What type of information will you need from me in order to start my design process?
Before we can customize and install your website, we will need the following information:
Your Domain Name
Your login information to your hosting account (Only if you have one) We will need this to upload your files.
Your business name
Your slogan (if you have one)
Your website content. (If you would like to add this on your own please let us know)
Images you want to use on your website.
Color and Font choice.
Contact email for the contact page on your website.
Any other information you feel we may need.
How long will it take to install my website?
Installation typically takes between 5 to 10 working days, depending on if we have all the information to customize and install your website that you supply.
I already have a logo can you add it into my new site?
Sure we can! We can add your logo to your header. We do, however, have to respect copyrights, so if you want us to alter your logo in any way, you first need the permission of the person who designed it for you. If you would like to use a logo that you have complete rights to, then you may submit that to us. If you are unsure of whether you own the rights to the logo, please contact the logo designer for verification.
I have images, but they are not very clear, can you help make them look better?
Sure, we can prepare your images for you for an additional $30 per 5 images.
Can I use my logo you design for all the ‘branding’ for my business?
If your logo incorporates any kind of graphic purchased from a stock image site such as Shutterstock.com then you are only allowed to use that logo on your website, you are not allowed to use the logo for other purposes that identify your business with that graphic, ie business cards, print designs, promotional material.
If your logo is designed by Studio 11 Web Design, we DO NOT use any type of stock image’s therefore you may use your logo for any branding and marketing needs.
How do I pay for my service’s?
We use paypal for all our payments. With PayPal, your financial information and purchases are better protected. You save time shopping online and sending money, and you get more ways to cover your payments. PayPal encrypts your sensitive financial information so the only person who can see it is you. Your purchases are also protected. We also use google checkout.
What are my payment options for my website?
We will not start on your project until we have received 1/2 the payment for your design package. When the design is finished you will receive an email stating your website is completed and then we will send you an invoice of your payment owed and that is when we will collect the other 1/2 of the payment. Only when we receive the second half of the payment will we send all your files.
Can you change the colors or text?
If you want minor color or text changes, then we can do this for an extra $40 , If you want more changes then we will charge up to $60.00 depending on difficult the changes are.
Do your themes come widget ready?
Yes, every theme includes sidebars that are widget ready. Each of these sidebars can be edited directly from wp-admin
